Howard Wachenfeld is was
a founding member of Tompkins, McGuire and is
now of counsel to the Firm. Howard concentrates
his practice in estate taxes, estate planning,
and contested will interpretations. He has prepared
numerous wills and many trusts for both estate
tax reasons as well as for personal and family
reasons. Howard has drawn documents for clients
of modest means and those worth hundreds of millions
of dollars.
Howard has represented individual and corporate
executors, trustees and guardians, and in one
case persuaded
a court to give permission to a guardian of a
wealthy person to make gifts in excess of $2 million.
He has also represented beneficiaries in matters
involving estate and trust administration.
